Legacy Award Honoree

Kaposia Days Legacy Award winner is Nipps Service on Southview Blvd. Nipp’s has contributed to South St. Paul for 80 years. Their dedication to South St. Paul helped to make South St. Paul a safer place to drive your automobile. 

Nipp’s Auto Service founded in 1946, is a small repair shop is a longtime local business right in the heart of South St. Paul. They provided auto repairs, vehicle diagnostics and fuel related services. Al, the current owner and his family ran it for decades.  

This shows the multi generations of family that give back to and support South St. Paul. Nipp’s was known to be honest, family orientated and customer focused. They were always fair priced, and were known to help customers who couldn’t pay, saying, ‘Pay more next time’. Customers embraced his friendly attitude and say; he could help with any problem. He loved helping to fix lawn mowers. Al Nipp and his family have South St. Paul’s trust because they look out for others. This makes Al a perfect Legacy Award winner.
