KAPOSIA DAYS ROYALTY SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM INFORMATION
The South St. Paul Kaposia Days Royalty Scholarship Program is seeking Candidates for
2017-2018. The South St. Paul Kaposia Days Royalty represent the Kaposia Days festival and the City of South St. Paul in community events, parades and coronations, as well as volunteer and service projects throughout the year. Each of the selected South St. Paul Kaposia Days Royalty will receive an educational scholarship to the school of her choice at the end of her reign.
Who is eligible to run for Miss South St. Paul Kaposia Days Royalty?
Any woman who is a U.S. Citizen and either lives, works, or attends school in South St. Paul. The age range is 16 years old (and entering into her junior year of high school) and 20 years old.
Candidates must be actively seeking, or have already received, a high school diploma.
Candidates must never have been married, not get married, and not have any children or become pregnant during candidacy or her reign as royalty if selected. All rules and policies outlined in the Candidate Application, Waiver and Agreement must be signed and followed.
The Application can be found on our web site at www.kaposiadays.org, move your mouse / curser over the Royalty tab and click on the Miss South St. Paul Kaposia Days Candidate Application menu choice. Applications are due by May 5, 2017. All Applications must be filled out completely and turned in with the $30 application fee. You may turn in the Application to one of our Royalty Coordinators, or you may mail the Application with a check for $30 to Kaposia Days, P.O. Box 144, South St. Paul MN 55075. A Candidate Open House will be held for those who would like to have questions answered prior to the Orientation. The Candidate Orientation will be held to answer questions and provide information to candidates and their parents/guardians on May 7, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Central Square Community Center. Those who plan on running as a candidate must attend the Candidate Orientation on May 7, 2017.
